Cosmetic surgery is becoming more and more popular. And now, non-surgical cosmetic procedures are becoming popular with people.

The latest in news are do-it-at-home cosmetic procedure kits that help you look pretty in the comfort of your home. It’s not expensive and is easier than going to a beauty therapist or doctor.

Hand-held, personal lasers pledge do-it-yourself costs with professional results. They promise to smooth wrinkles and get rid of blotches. From $129 to upwards of $500, web sites are loaded with convincing before and after photos.

Doctors believe that though this the wave of the future; some of these cosmetic devices are based on legitimate science, while some are not.

The RejuvaWand is available online for just $159. It really does have two infrared wavelengths of laser energy. In theory, it\'s similar to the high-powered devices that cost customers hundreds of dollars a session.

Instead of half a dozen or so treatments over time, people are advised to use the RejuvaWand every day. But many doctors feel that these devices don’t have the energy to make a difference to your looks.

Sometimes, people don’t even use these devices for the stipulated amount of time and thus, can’t see any visible changes.

Maybe, this goes on to say that it’s better to visit a doctor or a beauty therapist for a more safe and effective treatment.
